Generation of High-Power Terahertz Waves in a Collisional and Magnetized Plasma by Two-Color Femtosecond Laser Beams

Terahertz (THz) radiation generation based on a nonlinear induced electron current density in the interaction of two-color femtosecond laser beams with collisional and magnetized plasma is investigated. The that responsible for THz includes share from ponderomotive force part relativistic term. In this work, effects along variation interacting density, external magnetic field, collision frequency wave have been considered. reduction rising magnitude field generates more power without any deformation patterns. angular distribution showing pattern forward direction obtained effect pulse second harmonic electric directivity generated waves examined. change beam intensities both nonrelativistic regimes leads to fields different orders magnitude. numerical analysis indicated utilization scheme enhances leading intense compared single-color mechanism. model also shows efficiency linear circular polarizations pulses.
